ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
1-100 is excited to announce their collaboration with Alexandre Plokhov, the designer behind the cult menswear label Cloak. For the Alexandre Plokhov Fall/Winter 2012 runway show, the first since Plokhov launched his eponymous label, 1-100 designers Tabor and Villalobos have crafted a capsule collection of rings, cuffs and necklaces in white bronze and oxidized sterling silver.
The 1-100 for Alexandre Plokhov pieces feature Tabor and Villalobos’s modernist, artisanal approach to jewelry design. Reminiscent of shards and fragments of broken metal, all pieces in the 1-100 for Alexandre Plokhov capsule collection are hand sculpted by the designers and feature custom 1-100 hardware. As with the 1-100 by Graham Tabor/Miguel Villalobos collection, all the pieces are created in New York and fabricated by hand.
1-100 for Alexandre Plokhov will be available for F/W 2012 at select JOYCE and BARNEY’S NEW YORK locations alongside the Alexandre Plokhov main collection. The collection will be on view in the upcoming 1-100 showroom during Paris fashion week.
